Our Mission: "Native Explorers strives to recruit, train, and educate Native Americans in the earth sciences, natural sciences, and biomedical sciences as well as medicine."
Native Explorers has access to three fields stations provided by the Whitten-Newman Foundation. FS1 is located in the Historic Deep Deuce District in Downtown, Oklahoma City. FS2 is located at Black Mesa, Oklahoma. FS3 is located in Shell, Wyoming.
In addition to the WNF Field Stations, Native Explorers has access to various state and national parks located throughout the U.S. that allow NE participants easy access to numerous fossil quarries and other scientifically significant locales.
